It used to be that trends in the staffing industry reliably predicted future employment patterns, but as with so many other aspects of the economy, the last whopper of a recession knocked out all the rules. "I've been in this business a long time, and in previous recessions, when companies had to scale back, they [first] scaled back on their contingent work force, their staffing, their contractors, their outside agencies," said David G.
